Us 
Dave & Lois Long
We live in Virginia Beach, Virginia with our two cats, Beatle
& Tootsie. Our daughter Adrienne lives in Groton, CT. She is
engaged to be married to Mr. Damien Paul Deck. The ceremony is
scheduled to take place in Groton, September 1998.
Common interests
We are both into power boating
and fishing, gourmet cooking and eating, gardening,
music, home improvement, our daughter, and each other (not
necessarily in that order).
Dave Long
I work for the Newport News Shipbuilding, the largest shipbuilder
in North America. I am a project manager for government
multimedia systems development and specialize in instructional
design.
My interests
In addition to our common interests listed above, I guess I'm
interested in making and drinking beer. I wouldn't mind doing it
professionally someday (the making part that is, I'm already a
pro at the drinking part).
Lois Long
I work for Home Quarters, a building materials warehouse. I am a
commercial sales representative
My interests
In addition to our common interests listed above, I make wine,
and I'm into arts and crafts or almost anything that requires
doing-it-by-hand.
Our boat
Our boat's name is the same as this page, 1st Endeavor.
It is a 20'4" Angler with a walk-around cutty and a 130hp

of this site 
The purpose of this site is simply to get some experience developing one. If you see something here you like or don't like, let us know. Feedback is appreciated. Although this page will be a work-in-progress, we'll try to avoid those pesky dead-ends and men -(or women as the case may be) at-work signs.
